Want to know what marching band is all about? 

We work hard, play hard, and have a lot fun. 

Check out this video of the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps to see the types of experiences associated with a marching band!

• Opportunities are available at Reynolds High School to get involved in Marching, Jazz, and Concert Band activities.

• Band Director Ian Hargis is in his fifth year with us and has brought with him lots of new ideas.

• Help us make RJR the best band around.  Join Us!  Band students from Wiley, Hanes, Downtown, Paisley, Meadowlark, Jefferson Middle Schools feed into RJR High School.

• Marching Band begins in July or August each year with a band camp prior to the start of school.  Incoming Freshmen participate along with all marching band members to learn the season's music show.  It is a great way to get involved in High School and get to know new people.

• Hard work pays off when the marching band participates in competitions, wins awards and receives the approval of the crowd at football games for a job well done.  Socializing, bus rides, and band trips provide fun along the way.

• Jazz Band is a credit class at RJRHS.

• Look for opportunities to sign up for RJR Band Activities as registration for high school and the spring approaches.
